Self Regulation
I that the best place for me to work on my project would to be at home or in school. I know that when I m at home I get distracted a lot so I need to be in a environment when there is some structure. I believe that I can work well in a group if I have to. I rather work alone because I believe that in order to get a job done you have to do the job yourself. I think that I learn more with visual that why I decide to do a picture because that is what I respond to.

Project Proposal
My name is Angelica Maddox and I am a senior at Brooklyn prep high school. My project will be a painting of my past memories at Brooklyn Prep. It will address many of the issues that we went through as the first senior class and what different thing happened to us. It will look like a mural of memories from the classroom, shows that we did or just me hanging out with my friends.
One of the many questions that came to my mind in doing this project is what exactly should I paint. A lot of the memories that I have might not mean anything to someone else. That is why I began to think of ideas such as school shows or maybe a classroom. I think that this painting will connect to my school and community because many of the seniors will graduate and remembered the memories. I painted many things that they might have forgotten.
This project will reflect me as an individual because I will paint things I like. First of all I am painting. I really like painting even though I cannot really paint well. I plan on going to Mr. Powhida and asking him what ideas that he may have for my painting. I also plan on getting feed back from my peers about what they think might be good memories to add into the project. At the end I would like my project to reflect that I had a wonderful school career and that I am happy that I went to Brooklyn Prep.
I believe that one of my strengths of this project will be that I have a lot of opinion on what memories should add to it. I think that one of my weaknesses about this project will be the actually drawing of the painting. I am not an artist but I will really try to do most of it myself.
